1Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing, or using Kabisado (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use the Service.

2Description of Service

Kabisado is an AI-powered student study and review platform designed to help students master academic concepts. The Service enables users to upload study materials (such as lecture slides and PDF notes) and automatically generate active recall flashcards across various question formats. The Service includes spaced repetition study schedules, an AI tutor (“Kabi”), and related educational features.

3Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kabisado. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you represent that you have reviewed these Terms with a parent or legal guardian and have received their permission to use the Service, particularly when subscribing to paid features.

4Accounts & Security

You may register for an account using your email address or third-party authentication such as Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

6User Content & Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the documents, notes, and study files you upload to Kabisado. By submitting materials, you grant Kabisado a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to process, parse, and analyze that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service (such as generating flashcards and enabling AI tutoring for you).

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary legal rights and permissions to submit any materials, and that your uploads do not infringe upon any third party's intellectual property or your educational institution's academic policies.

7Acceptable Use Policy

When using Kabisado, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or compromise the Service's infrastructure or AI systems;
• Share or resell your account credentials to circumvent fair-use tiers or usage quotas;
• Upload files containing malicious code, viruses, hate speech, or defamatory content.

8Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

Kabisado offers a generous Free tier and paid Pro options (such as a 5-month Semester Pass or Monthly plan). Payments are processed securely via PayMongo, supporting Philippine payment methods including GCash, Maya, QR Ph, and credit/debit cards.

All prices are displayed in Philippine Pesos (₱) on our Pricing page. Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless explicitly stated during checkout. If you believe an incorrect or duplicate charge occurred, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction for case-by-case review and refund assistance.

9Service Availability & Third-Party Dependencies

Kabisado relies on trusted cloud infrastructure and third-party AI provider APIs. While we strive for continuous uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and are not liable for temporary service interruptions, network delays, or upstream AI provider maintenance beyond our reasonable control.

10Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, including deliberate abuse of automated AI generation quotas, harassment, or unauthorized access attempts. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kabisado and its operators are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. Under no circumstances shall Kabisado or its developers be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service, including any academic outcomes or exam grades.

12Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect feature enhancements or regulatory requirements. Continued use of Kabisado after published updates constitutes your agreement to the modified Terms.

13Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to Kabisado are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
